Coyote Ridge is a green community outside the village of Westford, Vermont. It has five (5) 1.5 acre lots and one (1) 2 acre lot. These lots are clustered overlooking the Brown’s River Valley. Surrounding these six building lots are 44.5 acres of common land. To a large extent this is prime agricultural land, perfect for pasturing horses and ideal for large gardens. Common land can also be used for hiking, fishing, swimming, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, bird watching and nature walks.
This community has been planned and designed with the firm conviction that homes and surroundings can and should have as little impact on the sustainability of Planet Earth as possible. It is with this intent that the Home Owners Covenants include provisions for the stewardship of the land and construction of green homes. Each of the six homes is required to be a Certified Green Home to assure quality craftsmanship, sustainability and of course energy efficiency.
Build packages are available through two separate experienced green builders: Tom Moore of Underhill, (www.tommoorebuilder.com) and Tim Yandow (www.timyandowbuilders.com).
